My name is Fay Jones. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California. Licensed by the state of California to practice both acupuncture and herbology, I utilize both in my practice where I specialize in Women's Health. Before becoming an acupuncturist, I worked in the allied health field for nearly twenty years as a Massage Therapist, Birth Assistant and Patient Educator, primarily focusing on pregnancy and postpartum. A vocal proponent of this medicine and an educator by nature, I have been invited to speak at colleges, universities, for parent groups as well as medical practices. I also taught Clinical Point Selection as faculty at Emperor's College and designed and facilitated a comprehensive review course that assisted dozens of students in passing their state Acupuncture Boards. My depth of knowledge and experience in Western medicine, combined with my training in Chinese Medicine and my own personal story, gives me a unique perspective and compassion in treating my patients. I understand that optimal patient care often utilizes both Eastern and Western approaches, and I encourage and support open lines of communication with your current care providers. My intention and goal in working with my patients is to facilitate health and wellness and to help each patient to live the highest quality life that is possible.
